MVP- LeBron James
As obvious as this is, it is worth stating that the 3 time MVP is about to win his 4th. You may see Kevin Durant's otherworldly rebounding numbers thus far as cause for concern, but when a Heat game is close enough for Lebron to play decent minutes, the stat sheet will reflect what we all know to be true: LeBron is the world's greatest basketball player.
Defensive Player of the Year- Serge Ibaka
Air Congo has shown time and again that if a basketball is in the air, it is likely to be swatted away by him. With obscene athleticism and gaudy blocking numbers, Ibaka will finally win his first Defensive Player of the Year Award.

Rookie of the Year-Damian Lillard
Portland has an unquestioned leader on the court in the rookie from Weber State. Lillard not only attacks the basket with ease and shoots the lights out of the gym, but he is also a crafty ball handler, great distributor, and a game changer when he is on the floor. Dion Waiters is putting up one hell of a fight thus far for the award but Lillard's impact on the Blazers will be felt far more than that of Waiters.
Most Improved Player- Omer Asik
Until this year, the Turkish seven footer had never posted numbers greater than 3.1 and 5.3, making his astonishing 14.3 rpg that much more impressive. Asik may not be Yao Ming, but he is contributing more to the Rockets than anyone could have asked.
